I guess with MSWIN in full swing they are slowly getting fazed out. Although here county and city fire is vhf still.
Well, in areas that do not run MSWIN "yet", they would still be monitored and used if needed. But that grows smaller every year. Same with 155.4900, 155.7300, 155.5950, and 45.2200 in Law Enforcement. But at least Fire/EMS/EMA does get to keep its VHF for tone out/initial dispatch when they go MSWIN. LEA's must drop all other systems but the MSWIN. Unless you have your own TRS that your converting over, or you pay to build out your OWN MSWIN sites.
