They have some 460 NXDN sites, primarily "on campus" school sites that are sometimes associated with the buses on the VHF system and other cases apparently just for the school.Has anyone found any MobileTech NXDN systems on 460 mhz band,
Uniden scanners display NXDN SysID in HEX, not DEC. That's what the lower case h indicates, and of course D (HEX) = 13 (DEC).With the SDS scanners the Sys ID shows as Dh instead of 13 like its posted in the Mobiletech Communications (NXDN) System does any body else have this issue?
Thank youUniden scanners display NXDN SysID in HEX, not DEC. That's what the lower case h indicates, and of course D (HEX) = 13 (DEC).
Could you show both Hex and DEC in the data base for this system.Thank you
No, that's not an option, sorry.Could you show both Hex and DEC in the data base for this system.
I see you did get the voice channel. I was typing my message as you sent this. I am sure that TG32 you heard is Fulton Taxi. They show up on sites all over the system at times.I discovered a voice frequency for the Pulaski site with users on 151.5500 using TG=32. I'm not sure who these users are, but they share the same talk group as the Fulton Taxi. Is the use of the same talk group just a coincidence? Please note - I submitted the new Pulaski frequency to RR.
Site 9 is also new; not in the database yet. Should be Rutland in Jefferson County, per the old system.The Pulaski site is reporting a new neighbor, Site 27. Here is the Pulaski neighbor list:
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-9; CC=40688 150.8600
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-12; CC=42836 153.5450
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-15; CC=41588 151.9850
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-25; CC=40676 150.8450
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-27; CC=41900 152.3750
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-51; CC=41882 152.3525
RAN=48 R13-48 neighbor: Site R13-56; CC=41906 152.3825
Using the same logic as before, Site 27 should be Adams in Jefferson County.
Do we have any reason to suspect that it's not Rutland? So far all of the NXDN sites have matched up with their LTR counterparts, so unless we have some reason to believe Site 9 is an anomaly, I'm going to add it to the database.I was going to ask if the Site 9 CC had rotated to a new frequency to help pin down the location but I see it is still the same.
Those are the reasons I was reluctant to add it to the DB due to call sign and location ambiguity. But, I agree it is a good move to add it now and fix the details later.Edit: I see that 150.860 is licensed in Watertown, not Rutland. No NXDN emissions on that license, however. I've added it as Rutland, if we discover otherwise it's an easy enough change to make.
Edit #2: It appears that Mobiletech is no longer being diligent about making sure the NXDN emissions are on a license prior to turning up a NXDN site. The Adams license is all 11K emissions, no NXDN to be found.
