Ottawa is on FleetNet, but maintains channels on the city's EDACS system for special operations. So yes, if you travel to Ottawa you'll be able to use the frequencies you're familiar with.
City of Toronto is on their own system, which is listed here on RR.
I can't answer for other cities.

Brad.

By special operations you mean...? Also, Ottawa Public Saftey is on EDACS system. The DB does not specify if it's a Narrow, Wide or SCT kind of EDACS. Can eneyone specifiy that for me please.

"Special Operations" is anything that isn't regular operations.

Ottawa's EDACS system is "Standard", which is the same as "Wide" (most software will list it as "Standard/Wide".

You can safely assume (for now although it might change over time) that
any EDACS system in the 850MHz range is Standard/Wide which uses a
9600baud CC. The only place that I'm aware that narrowband (4800baud CC)
systems are used is the 900MHz band.

As for SCAT (Single Channel Automonous Trunking), the only ones I know of
are on the Enbridge UHF system in South/Central/Eastern Ontario, which are
Standard/Wide because they are associated with that kind of system which
has multichannel sites in Toronto, Ottawa, etc.

By special operations you mean...? .

Special operations includes sizeable scheduled events such as Winterlude,
Canada Day, and official visits (GWB and recently Obama); times when Fleetnet
has not been working up to MOH requirements, including maintenance; and
unscheduled situations such as large-scale emergencies.

I was wondering on MOH Ottawa CACC talkgroups (Bell Zone 2), there are 4 talkgroups have a weird description. Tey are TG

35456 - Alfa (West)
35472 - Bravo (East)
35648 - Charlie
35440 - Delta

Can anyone be more specific on the descriptions please.

In the same zone, I was wodering, what CACC Cornwall EMS are using besause I don't see their MOH CACC Talkgroups list?

Thanks.

In order to listen to Timmins EMS, do I need to also program the 5 VR for Ontario's ambulance or i'm good with Bell FleetNet Zone 3 setup with Timmins CACC programed as one of the talkgroups on that system? Also, listening to CACC TG, is that a city TG or a regional/district TG where I could hear all the ambulances in the district covered by the Timmins CACC?

When talking about Ottawa Paramedics, "Alpha" is "west of the Rideau Canal", and "Bravo" is "east of the Rideau Canal". Charlie & Delta don't really have nailed down uses that could be documented in a way that'd be valid for any length of time.

Cornwall, as with all of S,D&G, as well as all of Prescott-Russell, is dispatched out of Ottawa. S,D&G is on the "OTT SDG" talkgroup, and Prescott-Russell is on "OTT PR".
