BART monitors: I'm setting up a scanner for an esteemed BART retiree who worked at OCC. My BCD436HP received very well in the stations and trains, but I hear nothing aboveground, even close by surface stations. I've installed the system through Sentinel. Are we dealing with (1) a very short-range system; (2) an "aboveground simulcast" subsystem that's not in service; (3) the usual simulcast rx problem; (4) erroneous RR data for the aboveground simulcast subsystem; or (4) something else? I know the 436 is not the best for simulcast, but I have found it to function decently on other simulcast systems.
Thanks for any thoughts.
