Monitoring issues GRE 500

I have a GRE 500 and a Pro 197 scanner, In my area, they are broadcasting P25, ii reproadcast on on 800mhz . The Pro 197 receives broadcasts fine, but the GRE 500 is garbled, using the same software to program both. GRE is fine one minute and garbled the next, the Pro 197 never does this, any suggestions.
If it is a software issue, what then, GRE is out of business.

Have you tried swapping the antennas being used on each scanner?

Have any of the advanced settings been changed in the GRE PSR-500 that you are aware of?

Do you have the latest firmware updates for the GRE PSR-500?
When you hold down the "3" button when turning on the scanner what do you see? It should like something like the following which is what my scanner is presently showing:

uP Appl Ver:U2.1
DSP App Ver:U1.4
DSP Voc Ver:F1.0

Have tried several antennas , even the outside one, did notice that up app version is 1.9 the DSP App and the DSP are 1.4 1.0
Where would I get the latest firmware update, since GRE website is closed up.
