I have searched and searched for this answer and have not found it. The following solution has worked for me.

NOTE: This requires you to be a premium subscriber and will lockout only known talkgroups and not lockout any unknown, new/future, or encrypted talkgroups

1] Goto your system on Radioreference and select "Downloads and Reports".
AWIN: https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3918&tab=reports
2] Download "Download DSD Formatted Talkgroup Data File for" [Do not close this tab/window].
3] Open DSDPlus.groups file in Notepad++.
4] Use Find and Replace.
CTRL+H
Find what: ,Normal,
Replace with: ,L/O,
Replace All
Use the comma before and after because a talkgroup may have the name "normal" in it. Example: Normalton FD.
5] Find the talkgroups you want and click on the line number. A dot will appear. After you have all the talkgroups selected you want to keep continue on.
There are only fifteen (15) talkgroups on the entire system I want to listen to where my stationary DSD+/SDR setup is.
6] There may be an easier way to do the following but I have yet to find it.
ALT+S
-> Bookmark
-> Cut Bookmarked Lines
7] Open new tab in Notepad++ and paste the cut lines by using CTRL+X .
8] Use Find and Replace in new tab.
CTRL+H
Find what: ,L/O,
Replace with: ,Normal,
Replace All
9] In the new tab: CTRL+A then CTRL+X .
10] Go to CSV/DSDPlus.groups file you originally opened.
Before the first talkgroup line: CTRL+V
11] Save the file.
12] Add the talkgroups to your current DSDPlus.groups file or replace the downloaded file in your DSD+ folder.
13] Note: This will lockout only known talkgroups and not lockout any unknown or new/future talkgroups. Talkgroups you selected in step 6 that are encrypted will not be locked out.
-> to keep up with new talkgroups, visit your link in step 1 and at the bottom you will see "Change History"
14] Be professional/decent human being in your comments.

In the channel activity window, right click on the talkgroup number for the TG you want to lock out until it says "L/O".

Thanks for the information.

The built-in method described works well for a few talkgroups but does not work well when you are sending the audio to yourself over Zello and the computer is not readily accessible. Clicking on 50+ talkgroups is not my preferred method.

0) group and radio priorities default to 50

1) set the monitoring threshold below that, say to 40

3) set the priorities of the groups you want to monitor to 40 or less

4) professional/decent enough for you?
