Greetings. The last time I was able to monitor PG&E (Pacific Gas and electric), they were on their VHF-HI frequency. It is my understanding that they have since moved to a MPT-1327 system. Since then, I read that they have again moved to a P25 system.

I have an SDS200 and have not been able to find frequencies to download from RR. Does anyone know if they indeed moved to a P25 system, and where in RR it might be? If they are still on the MPT-1327 system, is the SDS capable of monitoring that protocol?

Thank you

from RR,
It uses analog audio on talk channels, and can therefore be monitored by commercial scanners, but no scanner presently decodes the control channel, so true trunk-tracking is not supported - though Winradio and external computer-controlled scanning of MPT-1327 systems is possible.

so that would mean you could manually set it up as conventional and hear them, just not track them.
