I have been told that the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office has purchased 4 or 5 pumper engine's,possibly to supplement the county volunteer's. I can find no reference to this.

I haven’t seen any fire engine purchases since they replaced the training apparatus at the fire academy but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t have happened.

MCSO should continue purchasing EMS units first, especially for the Bayshore area. It's bad!!! Never seen a fire call not get answered, especially with Box alarm assignments these days, but future fire service planning isn't a bad idea!

Broward County FL Sheriff operates their county fire rescue so there’s a model for it already present.

I do not see anything on the Monmouth County Purchasing Division website pertaining to this. This is not to say that this is not being discussed, just that it does not appear to have been purchased yet.
