I literally received a new G5 yesterday morning and programed it out of the box only to realize it was not tracking the Monmouth system period, comparing it to the other G5 I had on hand, it was obviously also receiving zero on the system. Interestingly and as no one mentioned it, my Tait portable is working but now displays a new message: "EMS Central site ID 0x12. Both the North & South (EMS) selections now display the same message: "Site ID 0X12" (the mobile does the same).

Curiously, my TRX-1 which we often criticize on the board is still tracking & working.

Yea, our G5's are currently not working either. I'm giving it a day or so before I figure out if this is a permanent switch and they have to be reprogrammed.

I just submitted a new update with Unitrunker data for both South & North Simulcast sites. It appears that Site 1 South was replaced by Site 17 Neptune (now South Simulcast) and Site 2 North was replaced by Site 18 Hazlet (now North Simulcast). With regards to alternate controls channels with the new Tait backbone, there are none. Just the one primary control channel was noted with Unitrunker data.

Also, talking with a reliable source of mine, I was told that the County system recently underwent a multi million dollar upgrade to accommodate more/new users in the upcoming year or so. I was also told that there are new features that the Tait system offers which was not compatible with Motorola. What those features are, I was not told. However, there are 2 agencies/towns that are looking to make a switch to the County system, but I was not told who they are. The only clue was that they are large towns looking to making the switch over, and as soon as possible.

Per the updated FCC license:
North (18) should consist of now 11 channels: 769.79375, 771.24375, 771.54375, 772.10625, 772.46875, 772.74375, 772.90625, 773.44375, 773.96875, 774.21875, and 774.69375, and 6 sites: Hazlet (1621 Union Av), Highlands, Matawan (JCP&L Tower), Marlboro (District 10), Fort Monmouth, Manalapan PD.

South (17) should consist of 12 channels: 769.78125, 771.23125, 771.41875, 771.53125, 771.66875, 772.05625, 772.28125, 772.45625, 772.79375, 773.43125, 773.95625, and 774.20625, and 5 sites: Kozloski Rd, Neptune, Allenwood, Millstone, Upper Freehold (District 7)

Wonder if there are any future plans for a link to the NJICS? There is currently no Site 18 on NJICS and 17 is currently Passaic but that could always be changed.

Site numbers among ISSI linked systems doesn't matter. There are plenty of ASTRO 25 systems linked together where it's Site 1 for each system.

Marlboro Twp was said to be looking to migrate to County or NJICS.... All PD's on County are required to be dispatched by Monmouth Co Sheriffs Dept
They’d get more towns over time if they would piece meal out their services. Right now it’s all or nothing. If they would just offer radio use on a per user basis like the state does and allow towns to buy into the CAD, I guarantee eventually every town would switch dispatch. Believe Burlington took that path and now everyone in the county is dispatched by central.

Per the radio room they are on a new system and the G5's will all need to be reprogrammed.

The DB will be updated soon. The channel plan has indeed changed. The DB admin is in the process of reviewing and confirming.

For most, the only thing that matters is the control channel (which is only one) for each South (17) dec and North (18) dec.

South 772.45625cc North 773.96875 cc

Learned from @GTR8000 (and others, Ed) now Tait. Interesting to me as Sys ID BEE00
mimic's Motorola. Suspect no copyright on that. Must have made changeover easier.

System was originally MSI ASTRO 25, hence the BEE00 WACN (uh no, you can't copyright a WACN), so they left most parameters as-is to ease the transition to the Tait infrastructure.

Ran Monmouth on autopilot for about 36 hours (double checking new freq DB changes). Found a few TG’s not yet in DB.

7005 with 73 hits, ENC

12015 with 14 hits

2024 with 14 hits

2025 with 8 hits

7005 ENC is RID (44xxx). This TG follows Avon TG however these are not RID‘s on Avon (35xxx). Could this be Belmar or Bradley Beach?

2024 and 2025 appear in sequence w Roads but RID’s do not match Roads 2015.
RID (96xxx).

12015 in sequence with “Communications” Interop RID (96xxx).

The way Middlesex County numbers TG and RID’s is by far my favorite. Someone must be good with sheets in Middlesex. Everyone else seems to have a dartboard.

Maybe Sea Girt PD is coming onto the TRS system, as their Town ID is 44?
