Has anyone heard 769.29375c lately? Seems MIA even though it was working well as my closest control freq last week. 770.36875c now the loudest over here toward the border with Warren Co / Hunterdon Co. Maybe it's just me, but curious if anyone else knows?

Only one frequency at a time will act as the control channel. 770.36875 happens to be the active control channel now.

Morris county has acknowledged some coverage issues in various parts of the county with the new 700 MHz system and they are investigating some of these issues in an ongoing study.

How does that relate to his question, though? He's asking why he's not "hearing" 769.29375 anymore but "hears" 770.36875 as the control channel instead. That has nothing to do with coverage issues, it's simply the fact that the cell has rolled to a different control channel as happens from time to time.

My comment does not directly relate to the question posed but it does relate to the Morris county TRS system in general. Remove if you would like.

Control channels and BSID channels are only used if the voice only channels are busy, so it is normal for a standby control channel to be silent, unless you have a very busy system.

I have a discone in the attic not 2 miles from the township water tank and most of the time the signal is garbage.....also the 700 LTE AT&T site on borough hall raises the noise floor through the entire band. I don't have this issue with the NJ Interop system.
Have you tried the filters on the sites? Wide invert often works well for me. You can also try IFX on the site frequencies.

Should I remove the UHF Simulcast from my Favorites list?
Yes, since the UHF frequencies are used only for data. The more sites you have programmed, the greater the clipping of the beginning of transmissions. While scanning the UHF site, you will miss the beginning of transmissions on the 700 site.

Has anyone used Sentinel to put this into an SDS100 - I am not seeing the 700 frequencies or TG's, I must be looking in the wrong area.

I use sentinel with my SDS 100 and I have no issues whatsoever downloading the Morris county system and receiving all talk groups on 700

I just set up my SDS radios but I am not up in Whippany until Monday I will report back what I hear from my SDS-100
as promised, left my home in Hudson County and did not start picking up any radio traffic until I was in Hanover Twp, system worked fine on a BC-536 in the truck and SDS-100 inside in the area of Whippany Road and Deerfield Road.

I don't know which way you came...assuming 78 to 24. If so, my APX starts going in and out on 78 at the GSP. On 24 its a bit weak at the 78 interchange, but once I get up the hill its full bars as you can literally see Randolph in the distance.

I have been noticing a lot of traffic on the old UHF system. Talkgroup 10 using (E) voice mode. Does anybody know what this is being used for?

UHF TG 10 is a patch from 700 TG 30489 Fire/EMS Paging.
