Parsippany Fire was testing the trunked system 2 years ago when they were having issues with their UHF Repeater. They were using one of the OPS channels. There was talk about them switching to the trunked system but they wanted to stay with dispatch from the PD. Are they finally pulling out and going to County ?

That's been the rumor for the past few weeks. Time will tell.

Thank you to Signal-Zero for explaining each secure talkgroup. Maybe we should consider putting them in the database.

A couple other interesting numbers popped up on my end.

1028(404) 1082(43A) 1210(4BA) Which are all in the "MIRS/Mutual Aid" section. 1082(43A) is an announcement channel but I'm not sure what to call it. 1210(4BA) only has a couple hits and is the System ID. Perhaps 4BA is an admin channel?

2051(803) has a couple hits. I'm not sure what the 800 category is.

10706(29D2) 16384(4000) 17747(4553) 25605(6405) 42244(A504) 45567(B1FF) My guess is they are all patch's.

Lastly is 65536(10000) which I believe is an allcall TG and surprisingly has a lot of hits.

If I had the RIDs to go along with the talkgroups I would post them but I closed UniTrunker and it erased the history. I'll try my best to keep it open and collect some information.

65536 is a bogus "talkgroup" that Unitrunker uses to indicate the BSI. P25 talkgroups range from 1 (1) to 65534 (FFFE).

Well that answers that question, I couldn't figure out how UniTrunker was picking up a TG that shouldn't technically exist. I guess thats what happens when I don't RTFM for UniTrunker.

Thanks GTR8000.
