That's a UHF link to the repeater and I think they may still hold the license for some othe UHF's that are not in use.

All ops are on VHF high for all agencies.

Just that was a challenge, now at least there is interop in the same town (if DPW/Health were on vhf that would be a big step also).

I think the countywide system would be put into service in steps. You could make the argument that it has started already.

Yes, the UHF license for MO is in the business band with repeater channels. However the spectrum of the county radio's cover this band also.

Okay. I wasn't sure what spectrum didgital radio's covered. I know CDM series UHF are 403-470MHz and 450-527MHz. I am unfamiliar with the workings of the XT series radio's.

I was thinking, couldn't you do the same with what you were talking about with a TAC channel? Can you do a TG for towns in the west, east etc..............?
