I just talked with trusted source. He told me they are doing testing on pagers for the Morton County Rural Fire Dept. such as Hebron, New Salem & Flasher they are going to be using State Radio Paging channel that frequency is 154.90500 Analog then all Morton County traffic will be using State Channel 2 154.6950 Digital.

If this is correct the Morton County channels 155.6250 & 155.3100 will be Silent and turned off.

This is not correct. I have a very well trusted source. The 6250 and 3100 freqs will be used. The 3100 freq will be used for Encrypted Car to Car Traffic, Then the cars will be dispatched through State Tower 2. The 6250 frequency will still be used as a back up for when the state paging channel is down. Also when State Radio Sends A Page the 6250 Repeats the page.
