Hello,
Got two Motorola repeaters. XPR 8300 and DR3000.
At some point I realized that DR3000 is pretty quiet, the cooling fan was not running at all. Fast check and I saw the reason - previous owner disconnected the cooling fan. The good news - I was running the repeater at 1W TX inside a cold room
After connecting the fan, damm noisy fan. Running at full power non-stop. I found a small switch next to the fan's connector on the board F-N. Moved to N position. Now the fan is running on much much slower speed all the time. Still running on 1W TX. Does the fan have to accelerate at some point?
Using the CPS I can not find a menu to adjust the temperature's on/off or RPM of the fan.
Thank you
