Motorola EX600*XLS scanning

im confused with the way the scanning works on the 600 XLS, i programened a bunch of channels, have the scann lists, i belive i did 2 or 3. one of each group. but when i go to the group 2 to scann i get channels from group 1. please dont tell me that i have to have the same channels repeated for different groups and scan channels?? right now all the channels are set from scanning group 1. i hope i dont have to double up on the same channels..

any help???

Each conventional personality needs a scan list. Each scan list must have the channels you want to scan while sitting on that scan list. If you put every channel into every scan list you will scan everything.

Basically, yes.

If you want to scan a particular channel in two different banks, and don't want it going to another bank to find that channel, you have to add that same channel AGAIN to the "Conventional Personality" and set it to "Follow Scan List 2" or whatever scan list you want it to follow.

If you have, say, three banks, and want that channel scanned in each bank, you have to add it to the Conventional Personality" thee times, following the scan list you want.
