It has a Button on the pager that will allow you to repeat the last transmission that came thru on the pager...Thier supposed to come out within the next year...

If you purchase a model IV with the playback feature, there's an extra button on top of the A/B/C/D selector on the top.

My MIN IV pager also records page outs. On top of the ABCD channel selector is another button. Also a red led will light when you have a recorded page saved. Just press the button and the exact playback will play.

I'm fairly sure the playback feature is older technology. The Minitor IISV was equipped with voice storage.

I'm hoping Motorola will come out with an tone and voice pager (VHF or UHF) thats combined with a alpha numeric pager (FLEX technology on 900 MHz) so one can retrieve both types of messages while wearing only one pager. Two receivers and two separate decoders existing in one case.

They've produced some great pagers that offered limited alpha and voice paging over the last 15years (i.e. PMR2000 & Keynote) but they had to be on the same frequency to operate and used the same decoder.

Just my two cents.
