I have a Motorola 2 channel Minitor 5 pager that I would like to put pager tones in however I can’t fit all of them in on the 1st channel bank. If I put the same frequency in as channel 1 into channel 2 and use those tone spaces to add the addition tones in and make it scan both channels will it go off for all of the tones I’ve added for both Ch.1 and Ch.2 ?

Yes and no because there a chance it could stop on the “wrong” channel and not get alerted.

Most personnel don’t need may sets of tones in their pagers.

A - Open scan both channels
B - Silent scan both channels
C- Vibrate scan both channels
D- Open scan both channels

I guess it will land where it will land scanning both channels. It seems to want to land on Ch.1 first so I put the most important to me in the Ch.1 tone bank.

Is there anyone that could help me change my software to be able to operate in “engineer mode” ? I know you can change the bandwidth and add a second channel.
