Just confirmed both links still work as expected *AFTER* I have logged in at Motorola Solutions Online Store - Shop Motorola Solutions

I also have confirmed that if you are *NOT* logged in to the Shop it gives you a "page not found" error.

You have to “purchase” for zero dollars it in the shop *AND* the entitlement conferred on your account *FIRST* or else it will not be visible to you in MyView. To find it in the shop to purchase it you first need to login to the shop itself. The "Motorola Shop" and “MyView” are not the same website and require separate sign-ins.

So i downloaded LEX-Si RM but it won't download the Server. It will either say "Failed to copy files" or "Encryption Error"

And just to be certain we are starting from the same place, you have all these programs installed on the computer you are working from:

I can get RM Device Monitor, Job Processor Config, and Config Client to install, but every time the Server Utility tries to install, I either get a "Failed to copy files," "Encryption Error," or "Failed to manipulate" error. can anyone help with this because MSI sure can't

bc the usb cable i have didnt work and the other didnt even detect it

Update:

I reset PC to factory settings and wiped everything
Installed RM
And BOOM!!! It works now with SD card

Just what I needed an update on the SI500. Thanks to oSPANNERo for the write up ! Pretty straight forward once get all the SW needed. I was able to activate a unit that I have had DOA for years ! Works as advertised but one issue I seem to have found. The DOA unit that I have revived has firmware 2.60.00 It would appear that while connected to a APX wirelessly when PTT'd the mic audio is muted almost 90% ?? I hook the mic up via cable and no prob. Recorded video audio no prob. Record audio no prob. Just TX audio while wireless. I have a unit with firm 2.10.02 I have no prob with that one. I just need to do the factory reset and reconfigure for the SD option. I thought I would play with the DOA unit first just to test the process. Yes I have tried down grading firmware it push's and downloads to SI but after the SI reboots you get an error, pulled the batt. it reboots just fine back into 2.60.00

Was you able to figure out the mic almost completely muted issue? I have 3 of these all with different firmware but this same issue.

I am having issue with almost completely muted only when used in Bluetooth mode after firmware update. I have 3 of these, the si500 running 2.60.00 firmware being the worst 2.20.02 works but seems that gain is down on mic. I played with Bluetooth mic gain setting in APX radio with no success. Has anyone solved this problem?

34 CPS added a Si500 backward compatibility check box in the BT section under radio wide.

I just checked and it’s working for me. I would suggest opening a support ticket with Moto and asking them to look at your permissions in the shop:

I have not found a fix for the bluetooth audio loss with the newer SI500 firmware myself. But it looks like tomsr1971 may have with newer CPS and radio firmware I am thinking ? I can see the new bluetooth feild with CPS ver 33 but it is grayed out.

Finally I found "Si500 Radio Management Administration"
Can I use the Si500 through this program?
Do I have to purchase it?
and I have 2 of Si500s. Should I buy two of these?
The cost is not small, so I want to know for sure before purchasing.

What driver are you using for the SI? It comes up as “Android” but is never seen by RM monitor to process the job - or recognized. I tried the Google ADB Android driver as recommend for some other work around, but nada. I’ve manually entered it into RM and at wits end with this one.
