    Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued.     The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

    For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

HAs anybody schematics for a noice canselling speakermic PMMN4072. I hope to be able to modify it to be used with my ICOM Airband transceiver as an emergency transceiver. Therer are also simpler speakermics with mechanical noicecanselling from M. It is hard to reverseenginner the surfacemounted components.

I own and use an IC-A25 daily at work. Icom, especially their avionics, are known for requiring the EXACT part number to a T or it just won’t work.
For example, headset adapters that look totally identical, fit into the radio as it should wont work. And I’m talking an adapter to its immediate predecessor being the A24.
Just buy the noise canceling external mic for that radio, from Icom. I also use that Icom mic at work under whatever weather graces Ohio, and it works great.
I don’t know much about wiring up mics like you’re describing, but keep in mind that Moto mic is FM and an Icom air band portable is AM. Again, not my wheelhouse, I have no clue if that makes a difference. Just a friendly FYI there.

I just saw this is to be used as an “emergency transceiver”.
Assuming you’re a pilot or work in airport ops if you’re TXing. For the love of god to not try to do any modifications on something that can be the difference between life and death
