Do you have photos of the case for this?

Also, do you have a list of frequencies that will not be encrypted? As from what I can see from the display, all precincts will be encrypted.

Also, what boro are you in? I know they started issuing these to Brooklyn North Commands first.

Can you take a picture of the antenna? Doesn’t look OEM to me at first glance.

The Dept is being issued these to patrol. Every channel has a encrypted and unencrypted channel. If I had to guess, the dept will be encrypted within the year, with some unencrypted channels. Leather holsters don’t have any branding. Just the date is was made. If anyone has questions. I can try to answer them.

These are the apx 900s with vertex branding. The vx p949 has a different ptt button and side buttons.

My understanding from my contacts in NYPD is EVERYTHING will be encrypted, due to the false 10-85's 10-13's and the verbal threats over their radio by CCR's that have occured over the last few years. The big thing they are restling with now is how to load 64 AES keys into a radio with only 32 slots.
