Didnt have much luck on my previous post so howz about this......


does anyone know how to increase the 7 sec Group call reserved / hang timer on the DR3000 repeater

infinity would be great but much longer than 7 would be handy

As far as I know, you cannot. But you should not. If you increased it to infinity, and your mobiles and portables stayed on that group call, then no other groups or private calls could be rx'd by anyone. Unless that is what you want. If it is, just put only that group into the units, and delete all other contact info.

Edit: On second thought, I take back that statement. I can see a reason to want to extend that time. Try contacting tech support. However, you would not want to extend it to infinity, maybe just to 20 seconds.
