Anybody know what happened to Mt Holly PD. I can no longer find them on my scanner.

I don't listen to them but I can see them logged into the Charlotte P25 system in Unitrunker. Talkgroup is 18504. According to the database that is Mt. Holly PD 1

Also keep an ear on 18505, I've seen almost all of their IDs on that channel at some point. It's likely their channel 2, but I never have a scanner listening. As soon as someone confirms the channel name I'll add it to the DB.

As for Mount Holly, I believe someone on here posted about it a while back, between narrowbanding, their UHF repeater taking a lightning strike, and already having plenty of 800 radios, they just went to 800 digital.

So they aren't linked between the two systems? I know Belmont PD 1 is linked between UHF & P25, I figured Mt. Holly would do the same.

Can anyone elaborate on the current setup in Gaston County?

There's several police departments around, some dispatched by themselves, some dispatched by County Police. Also we're seeing very little submissions as far as the P25 system goes. I'm seeing numerous TGs active on that zone, just can't decode audio from where I live.
