Today i was tracking michigan public safty comm system and tried to give the site and system a name but unitrunker wouldnt save it.
System id is 92493-796
Site id is 002-021 with was St.Clair tower
When i try to enter that it just dont save. tried to pull up the file for it and i could not get it to save that way either. It would keep coming up as APCO P25 System
Any ideas? I took screen shots of each tab when i had the system up. i can add them if needed

The system initially appeared on the screen as something like ...

APCO P25 System 92493-796 unnamed Site 002-021 unnamed Qual 99%

There's two "unnamed" labels above. The first is the system label. The second is the site label. The text above not in bold should not change (other than signal quality %'age) while monitoring this site.

To edit the site label, the following should work:

[F]ind -> Ste -> tab over to the "Known Sites" field. Use the up/down arrows to scroll through the list of sites. When you see the site you wish to label (eg. should match the currently monitored site) press [Enter].

Tab over to the Label field and type a suitable label. Press [Enter] when done.

Im looking for 221 for St.Clair County
And at the stop. How it says
APCO P25 System 92493-796 unnamed Site 002-021 unnamed
Is site 002-021 the same as site 221 on the database for Michigan Public Safty System?

Yes.

In hexadecimal format, the site is four digits with a dash in the middle ... XX-YY. In decimal it is six digits with a dash in the middle ... XXX-YYY. The site numbers can range from 001-001 to 255-255 in decimal or 00-00 to FF-FF in hexadecimal. If your radio displays a four digit site number (like the PRO96) - you're seeing a hexadecimal number. I suspect the RR DB admins and the folks submitting the information haven't caught on to this because most sites use low numbers eg. 01-01 or 01-02.

Would that mean that Site 002-015 is the same as 215?
And 001-001 would be 101?
If I understand the way the information is shown in the DB, yes. For 215, your radio would display something like "T020F". The letter "F" is the hexadecimal digit for 15.
