That is almost pointing at this high spot with many, many antenna towers. I was up there many times in the past. Maybe you can do some research and see if they have an antenna up there.
I'm local to the area of that tower. It would definitely make sense for a site to be located there since it covers a very good chunk of the shoreline where MetroNorth runs. Coverage from that tower is very good in the south and south central portions of the state. That is almost pointing at this high spot with many, many antenna towers. The Totoket Mountain tower, also known as Totoket Ridge, is an 182.5-foot self-supporting lattice tower owned by Menuncketuck Communications Corporation. It is located at 500 Cooks Lane in Guilford, Connecticut, approximately 1.5 miles south of a proposed Tower Ventures site. The tower currently houses various antennas, according to DOCKET NO. 237 (CT.gov).AntennaSearch - Search for Cell Towers & Antennas

Haven't checked it out yet. Currently working on it.What kind of signal do you get over there?
If you are able, throw 770.45625 in a radio FM conventional with no PL- the control channel for the system in question. See if you receive it with no antenna. I am line of sight to that tower for all practical purposes. I can see Branford Point from my living room.I'm local to the area of that tower. I don't have RID 1259278 logged. However, the other two you circled—4204529 came back to an MTA D1/2 Unit, and 4250575 came back to a Northwell Radio per my unitrunker. What were they circled for?If your logging, see who 1259278 belongs to. Dont see them on zone 1

Im not getting anything from my location on 770.45625, and I have a pretty good reception in CT.If you are able, throw 770.45625 in a radio FM conventional with no PL- the control channel for the system in question. 9 miles to the north but with several RF obstacles, I get a sliver of signal on a Pro-197 with RS centerload telescoping antenna. G5 gets nothing. If you are able, throw 770.45625 in a radio FM conventional with no PL- the control channel for the system in question. See if you receive it with no antenna. Anyone near Port Jeff? My guess it is around there. I can see the stacks from here straight across the pond. Might explain how I get the signal so strong.161 is not a Connecticut site. There is a reason the only peer is the Suffolk (and Nassau) zone, no forking around. Also it's more than a single physical site.
I can confirm this. Signal is surprisingly strong from the northern end of Durham all the way south to RT 1, but it is definitely not coming from here.161 is not a Connecticut site. Yes and no. TGs are based on affiliations, so yes, it can help, but with MRRS, it looks like all the MTA PD TGs are allowed to roam on any site. Ive seen all of them affiliating to Zone 2 and 3 randomly.I can confirm this. I just got a quick glance but I was picking up either TG 6026 or 6029 this morning if that gives any clues to where this is coming from.
Also, Northwell Health is very close to merging with the Nuvance Health network, so I expect more sites to be hosted soon.I have heard that Northwell Healthy system is hosting MRRS on multiple sites since onboarding, no further details.

They are very active on their talkgoups on 26E Zone 1,2,3 and F63.They heavily rely on LTE for portables from my understanding
Hes referring to Northwell Health. Not the MTA PD officers in CT.does that include the officers that work in Connecticut?
That would sound right since the ISSI I believe was completed. They are very active on their talkgoups on 26E Zone 1,2,3 and F63.

To my understanding the MTAPD in CT uses CLMRN natively and are just patched to the MTA MRRS via ISSI. Perhaps someone else from CT could clarify.
