One additional observation I made during the past couple months is there is a new site in Western Queens that is broadcasting 26E Zone 1 RFSS 21 Site 21. I see MTAPD traffic is still carried as usual on this cell.
I wonder if this is the sign that the two systems will now be separated where F63 will carry primarily state traffic while 26E will primarily carry MTA traffic.

Fired up site 161 (not in database) and no state tg's in the last hour. Going let this run a few more hours.
Zone 3 (Southern Westchester) also reports F63 1.1 as isolated in the NL per DSD+. I still see NYSP Troop M and NYSPP traffic being broadcast on Zone 3.
Im getting a faint but decodable signal on the new F63 site 8.8. It looks like that has replaced site 1.1. Interesting I wonder what they are doing.

Well, this system is very interesting, to say the least. Hint the 689 post about it, lol.
But I thought the 26E system is now owned and maintained by the state, not MTA? Seems a bit odd that they would want to split up 26E and F63 if both are owned by the state

What is site 161? Where is it located?
Speculation puts it in Eastern Suffolk county but I have not had much luck locating it. 5 bars in the middle of a neighborhood in Mastic NY (south shore) but go a mile in any direction from that spot and no signal. Also got strong hits In Port Jefferson (north shore) and same thing. Gone in a mile any direction.
Also show a few map hits of either mta or northwell gps on that site. Units were in Manhattan , Nassau and CT.
This is all that affiliated on site 161 today.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I am just wondering what MTA will use within the 5 boroughs since it seems that they have now permanently separated from Metro 25
Looks like the Metro 25 is back to Site 1/RFSS 1
Yeah, same here. The metro site is back to F63 1.1, and the signal strength is back to what it used to be. It also reports 26E neighbors of 46.46, 47.47, 81.81, and 21.21. I am seeing regular traffic,, including MTA stuff.
In addition to that, I am seeing NYSP and NYSPP roam over to 26E Zone 3 still.

based on lack of site in certain radios, gonna venture to say a northwell health tower
I am not convinced its here in Suffolk County. Cant find any area where signal stays more than a mile in any direction. Anyone over in CT that picks it up, how strong is it? If using a Yagi, which direction is it facing?

Here at my QTH in Ct., I hook up all of my 800mhz. yagi's and I get full scale on all 6 of them pointed every which way. And full scale on the mini duck on the G5 sitting in the living room. Can't get rid of it.
A paper clip hanging in the BNC adapter gives me full scale for goodness sake.

I honestly think that site is over there in CT. Would explain me not getting it great in any said spot when I travel around Long Island. Never got it in Nassau. . If your logging, see who 1259278 belongs to. Dont see them on zone 1
