Caught a conversation between 2 radios yesterday on Zone 1. Each time a transmission was made, the tgid value increased by 1.
Caught similar few days ago where they were testing private call / individual call. Trunking recorder listed those as group calls. Same thing, each key up was 635xx tgid plus one.

Just curious, what are you using specifically to record. I had heard Butel was the go-to but evidently discontinued. Appreciate any suggestions

Not sure where you heard that or why Google AI is saying what it’s saying, but Butel’s website looks to be up and running with lots of software available for purchase. The software Scanner Master is saying can no longer be purchased is available on both their site and Butel’s site.
Perhaps Gommert can comment. @Butelsoftware
Seriously, when are people going to stop relying on crappy AI for answers? That blurb about Butel software is clearly wrong/misstated. What it was probably actually trying to convey is that some of those UNIDEN products are discontinued, not the software to program them. Please go back and re-read it, or better yet stop reading the AI garbage and do some actual research. Going to the Butel website clearly shows the software is still available, there shouldn't have been any other means to verify except going directly to the actual source. 🤦♂️

I spoke to a friend who is an MTA cop. The MTA is taking over the control of the NYC bridges & tunnels.
The NYC TBTA-Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority will be merged with the MTA & all law enforcement & security functions will be under their jurisdiction.
Also expect to see more NY State Troopers at the Bridges & Tunnels. Not sure if the MTA Trunk system can be tied into that Metro-21 system or whatever they call it now.
The MTA is also expanding into the NYC subway system at stations colocated at or near their train terminals.
According to my source, the MTA is thinking of expanding into NYC subways. The MTA is thinking of offering the NYPD Transit Div manpower to assist the NYPD, to see how many cops they might need.
PS. My friend says the MTA is on a hiring binge. They want to hire 5-600 new police officers.

They've been connected since Day 1.
I know a state trooper down here who corroborated that MTAPD is taking over bridges & tunnels.

On December 26, 27 and 31, tg 9147 was being used for snow removal on Throgs Neck. It was also mentioned they were causing interference on Marine something and were staying on what they were calling "Point to Point one".
Did you look in the database? Its pretty up to date.
It depends on which simulcast you are listening to. There just may not be much in the area to hear. I am in Orange County, which is the Zone 4 simulcast, and except for the occasional local MTA PD theres not much else. If you go into Westchester, where some local PD's are on the system, you will hear much more.
