They look ok to me, just need a little contact cleaning or burnishing. I would inspect every contact with magnification and if not pitted, soak a piece of paper in Deoxit D5 and pull through the contacts while they are under spring tension. That will usually bring back a bright finish at the contact points. If they are pitted then get a burnishing tool, which looks like a small flexible file and don't use anything more aggressive than a burnishing tool, then follow up with the paper and Deoxit. The Deoxit will also leave a protective film on the contacts so they will go longer between cleanings.

As long as the contact arms are straight and all the contacts make and break at the same time the physical appearance or slight rust on other areas is nothing to worry about. Its only the contacts that are important.

They look to be much older than the one I have ..Mine doesn't have the type of contacts you are showing... Are the cables still attached coming from the relay box? They play an important roll ..They are all measured precisely for swr match....Not quite sure if that would work with my antenna..Also is there 3 cables or 4 coming out of relay box. Thanks MIKE

Thats exactly what my does, HUM.wHEN i TRANSMITED the hum was in my audio also.. It was as if 1 or all relays were stuck.. I have been trying to find someone who can direct me to where I can buy the relays or even buy the relay box if that was possible.. If I come across any of that info. I will gladly relay back to you and I would hope you did the same... Thanks again, Mike

It sounds like you have an issue with the the control box...Those lights should come on as soon as you plug it in and turned on.. I bought my control boxes on ebay. Check around ebay ,craigslist, Marketplace.. Those are easier to find... Those relays your showing are probably for those older type boxes.. I am no tech by any means.. I would have to find someone to install... Here in CT. there is nobody to even work on radios.. Good luck searching for control box.. Let me know if you find one.. Don't spend alot of money on it ... I have 3 boxes but1 has a light out on it... The relay boxes are a hard find... Goood luck and Merry Christmas... thanks ,Mike
