MSP Exec Protection

Exec was certainly busy during the Preakness. I did not copy any activity off the Balt area repeater, however. Did anyone happen to catch any non-repeated, simplex comms? Cannot help but wonder if the UHF freqs we have for them (see our database) are still in use.

Ive come to find that they use Simplex more than they use the repeaters. I have been here at work when the Governor has stopped by and everytime they come here they use simplex mode. I have never heard a repeated conversation on those frequencies.
