Hey all. I have three sdr's (one of them is sitting idle right now). One of them monitors a control channel, other one monitors a voice channel. My question is, has anyone been able to use the third SDR to monitor two separate voice channels at once? For example, one SDRlistens to a fire dispatch call while at the same the other SDR listens to a police call? I know SDR trunk can do that but I would like to keep using DSD because my radio alias's are already set up.

I know someone said something about the -D command but figured I would check to see if it's even possible before I spend hours trying to get it to work. Thanks!

Sorry, can't answer for DSD+ but OP25 can do this too.
In reality you'd only need 2 RTL to do two voice streams; on P25 systems the group voice grants sent over the control channel are also sent on the voice channel, so software apps should be able to fully monitor what's going on without having to permanently camp on the CC.

Never tried it, but for how much I actually listen to, I'll listen to it after a call because I record all tgids that aren't locked out on dsd+.

Like boatbod said, you don't need to actually have 2 sdrs on a trunk system with dsd. Setup 1R and just make another instance of dsd+(copy the folder with a new name).
