Public Safety was still on the Smartnet system two weeks ago.
Okay thanks. I believe that some chief officers might have portables on the phase II system to talk with operations.

I concur. The radio IDs for the units appear to be a Smartnet format. Engine 301=2462 and not the P25 format 337xxxx.
Hearing a dispatch on 3 Alpha tonight.
I heard a 38xxxxx number yesterday. Not sure whether pd or fd. Over the past week it seems more fd channels have been heard. I think there is a pattern in current old system for radio id's. I need to monitor again for breakdown. Police have a bunch of 4 digit 2000 #'s. Fire has bunch , possibly 3000 range and road assistance 5 or 6 digits. I will post what I hear this evening.
Got word from a source that radio swap overs have started. I would assume the 7 digit id's are new p25 radios.

I think the radio installation is ongoing. Seeing newer radio ids show up. BC 302 is 3371267.Tonight Medic 301 is ID1910 on 3A and ID3370010 and 3370032 on 1A.
Thanks for these. I will add them to the wiki.MWAA Dulles FD units have had radios capable of 7-digit IDs for years. They have been used on the Loudoun system for probably as long as Loudoun's phase II system has been in use.
Some I bothered to add to my RID programming:
Engine 303 3370011
Tower302 3370015
Tower302 3371291
Medic 303 3371272
Medic 303 3371306
