My BCD 436 is missing?

It depends on the scanner and what the problem is. They may be waiting on parts. What was wrong with the scanner? Did you include a good known Credit Card or send a personal check? Have you tried to call the repair phone number? Uniden only takes North American Credit Cards if you sent it to TEXAS.

I will try to explain what your question is...

The problem with the scanner is that it cannot receive signals even at close range, aka it becomes deaf.

Meanwhile, for payment, I have included the Visa credit card data issued by the bank in Indonesia.
And I have never tried calling Uniden directly. I think I'll try it as soon as possible.

Maybe I should be more patient in waiting until this matter is finished...

The Scanner will never be repaired until they have payment. I have heard this story before sit there for months with no contact with owner over non working payment you need to call and work this out.

I followed your advice.

Two days ago I called. After waiting a long time, I was finally able to talk to someone from Uniden.
Searching by name was unsuccessful. Finally found it because I said try opening the email.
It was agreed that they would be answered via email as well.
And until now it's still nothing.

I understand that one of the problems is that I live in Indonesia while I sent the unit under the name of my friend in America.

But after opening the email, it feels like everything has been explained in the email.
I don't mind how long it takes to repair the unit as long as there is a little explanation from them.

Today I have to share good news.
Just two days ago I received an email from Uniden to inform me that my Uniden BCD 436 has been repaired.

Now it has even been sent to my friend's address in America. I also got a tracking number via FedEx and when I checked it was true that there was a shipment to that address.....

It was a surprise considering there had been no confirmation from Uniden so far.
There wasn't even a debit on my credit card.....

I have answered via email, however, it is my obligation to pay repair and shipping costs in accordance with the initial provisions. and I'm still waiting for the answer.....

But anyway, through this forum I want to say thank you to Uniden who has repaired my scanner.

Also to forum members who have provided input on this incident. Thank you to all of you.

Good morning.

I am posting for the last time so that group members know the real incident.

Just yesterday I received an email from Uniden explaining that the unit I sent was actually LOST.....and they sent another unit as a replacement.

They said because it was their fault of course I wasn't charged any fees...

So what I had been worried about was proven that my unit was really lost... I was disappointed to hear that.

But with Uniden replacing it with another unit I want to say that I consider this case closed.

Once again I would like to thank the members of this forum who have paid attention to my case.

I hope a case like this doesn't happen again to anyone....

I think the case is not closed yet as you will probably get the scanner without activated licenses.

If you are talking about the upgrades for DMR,NXDN and Provoice, the OP has not said his 436hp had any of the paid upgrades.
So, he should be able to program his radio and be back in business.

I will accept whatever Uniden gives as a replacement.

If the unit is still standard then I will upgrade to DMR/Nxdn later after the unit arrives in my hands around late of July.

I think that's enough for me to tell about this case on the forum.
