Very well-organized shack--many thanks for sharing with us. Can I ask where you found that 5-up radio rack on the right side of your monitors? That's a nice piece of kit.

Your setup looks real nice and neat. Are you pleased with your D3000N? I just received one in the mail, and hav'nt put it up yet. Waiting for a warmer day.

I think it works great, I replaced the low band whip part with just a 36" whip on a spring with no low band choke as I don't listen to low band

I have used a similar "cable amp/splitter" for several years - got some short jumpers made with the F on one end and BNC on the other and it works great. Cheaper than the Stridesberg or whatever that brand is (just went blank).

Someone on PM asked about the Havis consoles I have. The one on the left is a 14" and the one on the right is a 10"
The 996/15/536 take up 2.5" of space each so I get 5 scanners in the 14" and 4 in the 10"
Im looking on E-Bay for an 18" at a good price

You definitely get what you paid for in this circumstance. I also used CATV amps for years before I took the plunge on Stridsberg. Once I did, I had MUCH better signal and was hearing systems 75 miles away no problem. You can go cheap and get adequate, then you can go Stridsberg and get real performance. The choice is always up to the individual hobbyist. Take it from me and do a performance comparison. Definitely worth the extra jack for the Stridsberg.
