Here is my Los Angeles 396 work in progress clone feel free to use and adopt. Pick a few banks and have easy listening when visiting LA.
People seem pretty tight with their files. I don't know why. I don't think there is any secrete stuff. It is more about What do you want to listen to?
I wish more people would put their complete or close to complete radio setups. It is cool to see how other people do it. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to go one place and fill in a form about where you are going and what you like to listen to and have it spit out a perfect file to upload to your radio and a single sheet of paper to print with a file map of what is in the radio. I would love it..

Hey. Your file is zipped as a *.c39 file. Changing the extension to a .usd, it still does not read in USAD. Did you create it in ARC396 or something? I am looking for a .usd file for the LA area - including east of LA. I am leaving Denver tonight for a few days to stay in your neighborhood. I have a p96 file done and loaded, but I only dealt with the San Bernardino/Ontario area with that. I was hoping that I could use the 396's memory capability to get some more useful LA area comms. He said it was a clone, so I believe it was created with ARC's clone utility. If so, the .c39 file extension is correct.

396 clone

It is a clone the file groups that are created with the used is too complex to deal with because if you download those files into your folder and you have some files of the same name the radio programming that way I set it up will not work.
So I made it easy for you. Clone this file into your radio (after doing a backup of your radio first of course) Then use any soft=ware program to save the files to your preferred software package.
So there you will have a good working setup for la and the ability to edit it as you wish in whatever software you wish.
Just make sure that you alter the opening screen from the clone so you can out your own information there instead of mine,
I hope somebody gets something out of this I have HOURS of work into it. I have gone to some of the very best resources for the information that is held in this radio.
If you want LA and it's surrounding areas This clone will et you very close to where you want to go.
