I like your setup in your Odyssey. I am looking to do a new install in my 2024 Pilot. Since you're in AZ, don't you have to deal with simulcast issues on the 536s as most everything is P25 trunked simulcast out there? I am challenged to fit a SDS200 in the console of my Pilot but a 536 would fit well (single DIN vs. double DIN). However, that radio doesn't handle simulcast very well from my experience. Just wondering about your experience with that radio in a mobile, simulcast environment. Thanks in advance.
While where I live is in a simulcast area for both the MCSO and RWC systems I am in a fairly remote area so can usually only hear a single site for the simulcast sets. When I go into town I do have simulcast issues on the 536 but these days I rarely, if ever, monitor these systems. My main focus is CloseCall, railroad, ham and GMRS so I usually don't bother with the trunking systems. The few times I do I will bring the SDS100 and connect it to the spare antenna.

Rich;
Are you having issues with the Anytone 578 being a bit deaf???
I put one in my truck and the performance is sub standard. I do need to change a setting or 2 but was wondering if others had the same issue.

Hope all is well down south.

Not that I have noticed. I have two 578’s, one at home and another in the van. Both seem to work as well as the radios they replaced and are more sensitive than the scanners as a rule.
