so the NRCS system uses a 125 watt Quantar repeater that will accept analog or P25 and is usually tied to a POTS line. Enven though it is a "FAA" repeater, it is open by default so other agencies regularly use. It definitely will not be what you are use to on the air bands. Think more along the lines grease monkies, techs work ILS problems, someone polishing a lightbulb. Or you have been listening to CBP/TSA. Like I stated before, they are wide open.
