They would likely be on the mil UHF 230 to 400 MHz.
Looks to me like they are doing some GEO observations, suplementing their LEO satellites.
Maybe even an SAR operation or training.
Telemetry may be up around 1700 MHz or through TDRS sats

On the ATC side it sounds like they might be using the standard Center VHF frequencies. When Joshua Approach handed them off to Oakand Center they first gave them UHF but it sounded like they requested the VHF frequency instead (aircraft not heard). LiveATC Audio

Looks like they will be working on GEMx Mission until September 19th, so more chances to hear them. NASA 809 Schedule

They will generally be on the UHF tactical frequency while completing their mission so they don't have to listen to all the ATC chatter. But you're not going to hear much, as they are generally left alone to do their thing. It's not like they are being separated from a bunch of other aircraft. When transitioning in and out, they are usually on the normal VHF frequencies.
