Was mindlessly monitoring Nashua earlier and heard them dispatch a motor vehicle accident with fire on talk group 2079 which is labeled in the db as "EMS Tac 7". I wasn't quick enough to switch over to the Fire Dispatch talk group (2049) so I'm unsure if they were simulcasting. Anyone have any idea what's going on there?

EMS-7 is the mutual aid channel. An example would be, if there are no available AMRs in Nashua, they will call in the neighboring town. They will use Channel 7 or EMS 7. But for accidents or if it's in the town of Nashua, then they would use channels 2, 3, etc. But I think it was an accident in Merrimack yesterday and Nashua AMR went and I think they used Channel 7 (TG:2079) or they would get patched in Merrimack's TGID.

Ah well that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing!
