Nashville Tower

I listen to Nashville Apporoach on 118.8750 and i only hear the Planes coming in..is there a seperate freq for towers?...i never seem to hear the towers

You aren't close enough to the ground antenna.

is the tower low power?...i thought they have a high power freq for high Alt?
