Folks, I got this thread from a friend. My step daughter is stationed on the USNS MT. Baker out along the Leonardo Pier in Northern Jersey. I am up in MASS and not all that familiar with locations mentioned above. Could this be in the same area???? Other ships out along the pier are USNS Supply , USNS Arctic , and USNS Spica. Any info appreciated.

Your stepdaughter is at NWS Earle which is about 40 miles north of Lakehurst. Earle is on high band, but will be having a 380 mhz trunked system installed in 2-3 years.

I'm a few miles from Earle NWS. I just did a search from 380-400 and its dead. I was thinking maybe one of the ships had a trunked system. But no CC found here.

Jeff and Tech792 thanks for response.....My wife and I are planning a trip down that way to see her in September. I was going to pack up the toys and do some searching--any head-starts would be great!!!

TRS is up and running. 385.2625 is the CC, I've confirmed 386.45, 387.375, & 387.5375, all encrypted. Only users for now are the research & development folks, all base services remain on high band until they get funding. This is not part of the mega-base, but in the future will be tied into the Dix/McGuire 400 system.
