For those knowledgeable with NX-5700, will the radio handle via programming Fleetsync & dtmf ani on the same channel. For example Fleetsync on ptt connect & dtmf on disconnect. Or even both on connect with delay between the two. I have new nx-5700 I will be programming soon and am curious about this configuration. Thank you in advance.

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

No. Each ANI type will be set within the system, then personalities made under the system or a system assigned to a zone based on how you chose to set it up. Maybe an external board can provide EOT DTMF but no way to do it within the radio.

No. You get your choice of one signaling type or the other. Is there an actual system that is set up that is expecting two different signaling types?
Ok thanks for the info. Not a system expecting two types but an auxiliary function. The system expects Fleetsync. A secondary display (legacy system) is looking for dtmf.
Ok thank you. I have some older selectone dtmf encoders (st101 and st104) but was hoping to utilize existing functionality. Not sure how difficult interfacing the selectone boards would be.

OK. There are external decoders that can be added on to most legacy systems. I'm not aware of any radio that will do both Fleetsync and DTMF at the same time.

The ST101 and ST104 are CTCSS encode and encode/decode, not DTMF or FS. There is the ST-804A, manuals etc. at Tone Signaling
That’s incorrect. I’ve been using these 2 boards for years for dtmf. From the manufacturers website:

What's incorrect? The ST-10x are CTCSS, not DTMF. The ST-80x are the DTMF boards, as you confirmed.
