No. You will get the tag in the mail too. They sent mine separate from the registration, but they arrived within a day or so or each other.

A week later still don't have them. I am beginning to wonder if the local license plate agency has them.

A friend of mine ordered a personalized motorcycle plate recently and never got it. I don't know what's up with that, they send them out with no tracking or anything so you can't track them. If I had to guess the registration card is sent out by the DMV and the actual plate by the manufacturer(prison?)

What sucks is if it is lost, they will not issue another tag with your call until that registration expires. Ask me how I know. What they do is issue another tag with your call and a "/2" after the call.
