I don't know anything about them so need help.
I bought my wife a uniden scanner about 20+ years ago and the battery died about 3 years ago so she
went out and picked up a new battery but then that died about a year later, think she used the wrong
charger for it so she ended up getting rid of it and now a year later she is wanting to get a new one.
I am not clear on the terms trunking system and others but I do want to use it here in the SF Bay area
and also once I move into the foothill area of Nevada county and Sacramento's here in California. I do
want a portable one. I was looking into the BC346XTC and was wondering if this would pick up most
of the frequencies that are out, if not what might be a good scanner?
Any help would be great.
