wear can I download a copy of an older Firmware version for a UBCD3600XLT
I need a copy of FW/V 1.26.00 can someone post it on here.

Hi Erik,

you can find this FW V 1.26.00 at www.servicedocs.com. You need to filter on Uniden Bearcat and model UBCD3600XLT. You’ll find this FW in the results 😉

@Ubbe at the website of the Dutch importer of Uniden scanners (www.avera.eu) they mention this:

All recent delivered UBCD3600XLT’s have this FW V 1.28.15 installed (checked by a shop owner).

Maybe the new PLL allow more frequency coverage. It is normally full coverage 25-512MHz and 806-960MHz and also 1240-1300MHz. Perhaps the 806 have been lowered. Then the bandfilters should also have been modified for greater band coverage and the firmware are incompatible with older scanners PLL and filters, although the bandfilters might not be necessary to modify, in the same way that Whistler allows tuning above 60MHz for the E firmware but with reduced sensitivity.

@lx2005 can you please enter the band edges manually, Channel+freq+Channel and then tune out of the band? Enter 806.0 MHz and then tune down to 805.975 and see if that works to do. Then try 906.0 MHz and tune upwards.

The band edges are: 758.0000-960.0000 (gap) 1240.0000-1300.0000.
Yes, I can tune to 806.975 and 906.0 in quick search.

Since the beginning of June, the older series of UBCD3600XLT’s can update to FW V 1.28.15 too. You can update with all Sentinel versions, however if you want to program in the extended frequency range, you have to use Sentinel V 1.02
