Need help finding nasa freq

Hi, I live in las vegas.. I was scanning some ham conversations and stumbled on nasa last space flight and didn't save the freq.. would anyone be able to let me know what freq i should input to monitor basic basic space operations? I hadn't saved the freq... thanks

Unfortunately the time for you to listen was right after launch on 259.70 AM.I got them just after MECO today using a scanner (BCT15X) and a discone antenna. Now that they are in orbit they are using S-Band satcom on 2217.5 and 2287.5 to transmit their audio. You would need a dish,a down converter and a very expensive radio to monitor them.

well thing is i can watch nasa tv on my pc and well that's the same thing i had picked up on my scanner last space flight. Do you have any suggestions? I believe nasa has a a rebroadcast.. I"m not looking to pick them up directly,

From an old listing, I found some freqs listed for NASA re-broadcast by ham radio operators in Las Vegas:

Yes I misunderstood his question. I used to listen to them years ago through the WA3NAN rebroadcast on 40 & 80 Meters. Im not sure if that groups is even still around anymore.It was really exciting to listen to back before NASA TV and the Internet. I believe their club was at the Goddard Space Flight Center.
