BCD396XT/BCD996XT: Need help/opinion

I used the 12VDC plug that came with the radio in the car. This is where the radio came on and started to smoke where i immediately unplugged.Does anyone have an option of the sds200 and the humming noise?

I bought my SDS200 about a year ago.

I've never heard the 'hum'.

I bought my SDS200 about a year ago too. I have a very light hum noticeable when sending audio through to a bluetooth speaker. This was corrected with a ground loop isolator inline with the audio cable to the bluetooth transmitter. Not sure if this is really the same sort of hum that others have experienced.
