need help sdruno dsd fastlane

Hello everyone, I recently bought a laptop with Windows 11 Home. I installed the latest version of SDruno, the latest version of Fastlane, and VB Cable.

I configured it the same way as on my old computer, and everything launches correctly, but I'm not getting any decoding in Fastlane. My audio signal appears in the audio source window, but nothing happens. I've attached screenshots of the different settings. If any of you have any ideas, please let me know.

I installed the latest version of SDruno, the latest version of Fastlane, and VB Cable.

Did you install DSDPlus from scratch or copy the directory over from the old computer?

DSDPlus with FMPP will work on its own without the need or use of SDRuno and VB Cable. If you did not modify 1r.bat or FMPP-CC.bat, try loading just those two programs and inputting a known digital freq into FMPP and see if you get audio.

Welcome to the RR forums. Are you monitoring conventional traffic or a trunked radio system? If the latter you'll need to launch the batch files Dave mentioned above to be able to follow voice channels. If monitoring conventional traffic via SDRUno (personally I prefer SDRConsole to decode conventional traffic) a few settings you'll need to verify...

Firstly, your vb cable needs to be set as output thusly. Looks like you already have the correct input set on the DSDPlus side judging by your screenshot.


Secondly the settings below have worked best for me to decode conventional DMR & NXDN. Adjust your gain to a point where the waveform is clearly visible but not too high as to cause overload.

Get rid of vb-cable first. Can use it later if you need. For now, start new dsdplus dir. on drive, unzip dsdplus there, but freq. into which FMxx for what sdr you are using. Start FMxx...start 1.bat....see what haqppens. Hope I have this right...

Hello everyone, thank you for your replies. I'm launching the software with the .bat file and it's a simplex frequency.
The problem was that "deem" was checked in the settings. Once unchecked, everything started working again.
I'm surprised, Whiskey3JMC, that you managed to get it working with the "deem" option enabled.

Anyway, thank you for reading and helping me.

Me too. DEEM must be off for proper decoding.

Me too. DEEM must be off for proper decoding.

It's definitely set that way by default, I had just installed it prior to taking the screenshots & didn't make any settings changes aside from setting output device. Again I use SDRConsole over SDRUno for conventional decoding
