Just to confirm, you are programming Interagency Communications Interoperability System (ICIS)?

Is it being programmed manually, using software, or cloning?

What behavior are you getting when you say that it is not working? Is it recognizing the system (it will show a T on the upper left corner)? Is it "bouncing" between the control channel and talkgroup (flashing like it is trying to receive)?

Is the table set up for the particular site that has been programmed? It looks like each site has a different table and it could be very easy to get something wrong when programming the tables.

Hi Spitfire, I see you have a Pro-106 as well. I also have a Pro-106, will the 106 handle Motorola Type II and IIi trunking modes?

Yes, although I personally only really have experience with a very limited number of Type II systems and none with Type IIi systems.

I've been reviewing misc. Pro 651 posts regarding Firmware issues. This Radio Shack/Whistler craziness
is mind boggling. My difficulty as posted is trying to find the data info for perimeter settings relating to
P25 Phaze1 trunking (I.C.I.S.--Los Angeles,CA). I can't even get the 651 to receive just the voice
channels, it just sees a DG transmission and no audio.
All settings are nearly the same as the 2.8 firmware, the differences--RSSI and maybe 2 or 3 other
setting. P25 inputs for base.offset & step settings seem to be missing the Low/High frequency numbers and I'm unable to find that info. Other P25 trunk systems seem to get decoded and have
audio (digital or encrypted) without to much effort, with reception being more of a problem.
I'd appreciate any info I can get. Thanks--RK

Are you taking about Interagency Communications Interoperability System (ICIS): Project 25 Trunking System or Interagency Communications Interoperability System (ICIS) Trunking System? These are two very different systems and are programmed differently.

Custom Trunking Tables are only needed for the Motorola Type II SmartZone system. The Project 25 Phase I system should be set to P25 Auto with Default Trunking Tables.

For the Motorola Type II SmartZone system, you will need to program each site as a different system. They cannot be programmed into the same system as the tables are all different.
