Need help with CPD

HI,

Due to illness I am going to be homebound for approximately 6 weeks. A friend gave me a Radio Shack trunked (whatever that means) scanner. I am getting many frequencies. However, I am not sure that I am getting all of the Chattanooga Police and Fire dispatches. I live in a sketchy neighborhood and I never hear anything nearby and I know that there is plenty going on. I cannot find out what all the frequencies are for the CPD. Can anyone help me? Please!!!! I am so bored.

The information you are requesting is probably in the RadioReference Database shown above. Click on the database tab and the dropdown box database home. When the U. S. map is displayed, then click on the state of Tennesee, then click on Hamilton County. When you see the Chattanooga/Hamilton County page scroll down to the bottom to "All Trunked Systems in Hamilton County" and click on "Chattanooga/Hamilton County Public Safety". Then look under system frequencies to see if you have all the control channel frequencies shown in red and blue programmed into your scanner. The talk groups for the Chattanooga Police Dept. are shown below the frequencies. Hope this helps.
