Which scanner sould I buy for the new WV system? I know there's not a lot of scanners the can pick it up since its digital. I would also like to buy one that will survive rebanding.

You can buy the Radioshack PRO-96 or 2096. They both will survive rebanding.

I would highly recommend the uniden bc396T, I own both a pro-2096 and a 396t and the uniden is easier to use, it automatically configures P25 systems like WV has.
