My AOR 3000a has a bad dialpad. Last winter, AOR USA fixed the same issue with my AOR 8200 mk3, but support tells me that they no longer service the the AOR 3000. Any ideas where I can get this repaired?

AR3000 has individual switches for keys on the keypad no rubberized carbon used. Sometimes on ebay you can find boards. May have one for parts, sometimes the switches get oxidized on the contacts and need to get worked and used some

Not sure it will help but you can try do it yourself : long time ago i spilled some red wine on the 3000A keypad ! all work OK but I decided to cleaned anyway. Remove top cover, try get to the keypad circuit board and membrane. Clean all with good quality electronic contact cleaner. I always keep Caig Pro Gold spray (now its called DeoxIT® GOLD) for jobs like that. Put all back together and test. It may just work, worth trying.

Appreciate the replies, but nothing is wrong with any of the keys. The frequency dial needs to be replaced. It doesn't always react correctly when one wants to go up or down. Sometimes it does not respond at all. Other times, if I try to go up, it will instead adjust the frequency down, or vice versa.

My AOR 8200 MK3 had the exact problem. AOR USA ended up replacing entire CPU board as it would have taken too long to get the one part.

Edit - Perhaps a bad title led to some confusion. The turning dial that can be used to go up or down in frequencies needs to be replaced.

May try the DEOXIT fader to see if it helps. The service manual I have lists only the old clicker type encoder. The A uses a smooth tuning encoder. there is one on Ebay in Europe for a veru high price and there are some ALPS new old stock that look like they would work but the shaft is very short. On the connector PIN 1 is up, PIN 2 is down, PIN 3 is common/ground, PIN 4 and 5 is X10 and step. Pins 123 are needed for the encoder to tune. Tried one of my AR3000As and it is about 20 turns per turn. You ,may be able to find another encoder that will fit and replace it if cleaning does not work, most of the newer encoders are smaller and board mount
